Friday’s Dave Matthews Band concert at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York featured the debut of an AC/DC and Bee Gees mash-up. Footage from seven different videographers has been paired two audio sources to create a multi-cam video of the “Back In Black”/”Stayin’ Alive” mash-up from SPAC as well as the cover of Steve Miller Band’s “Fly Like An Eagle” that followed.
The mash-up came out of “Jimi Thing” and a few songs after DMB busted out “Joyride” for the first time since August 30, 2013. Dave Matthews Band followed “Fly Like An Eagle” with oldies “Shake Me Like A Monkey,” “Everyday” and “Ants Marching.” Matthews returned by himself to start the encore with “Some Devil” and then the septet worked a portion of Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway To Heaven” within “All Along The Watchtower.”
Watch the “Back In Black”/”Stayin’ Alive” mash-up and “Fly Like An Eagle” below thanks to Chester Copperpot5 and all of those who contributed to the effort:
