Dark Star Orchestra Plots Summer Tour 2025

The celebrated Grateful Dead tribute act will perform historic shows at several venues on the cross-country excursion.

Dark Star Orchestra announced details of their Summer Tour 2025. The renowned Grateful Dead tribute act will perform at venues across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest during July and August.

DSO launches their summer excursion on July 11 at Thompson’s Point in Portland (Maine). The tour continues with a performance at the Jeezum Crow Festival in Jay Peak (Vermont) on July 12. On July 13, Dark Star Orchestra heads to Schenectady (New York) to play the Frog Alley Brewery Summer Stage before appearing at the Musikfest Café in Bethlehem (Pennsylvania) on July 15.

The band will perform at the 4848 Festival in Snowshoe (West Virginia) on July 17. Dark Star Orchestra then travels to Buffalo on July 18 for a show at Outer Harbor Live. The initial leg wraps with performances at the Levitt Pavilion in Westport (Connecticut) on July 19 and at Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park (New Jersey) on July 20.

Following a brief hiatus, DSO resumes touring on July 31 at the Catholic Health Center in Farmingdale (New York). August begins with a performance at Beak and Skiff Apple Orchard in LaFayette (New York) on August 1, followed by Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City (New Jersey) on August 2. The ensemble then settles in for two nights at Tree House Brewery in South Deerfield (Massachusetts) on August 4 and 5.

On August 7, Dark Star Orchestra plays Globe Iron in Cleveland. The band will recreate a historic Deer Creek Grateful Dead show at Corner Prairie in Fishers (Indiana) on August 8. DSO then heads to Rose Music Center in Huber Heights (Ohio) on August 9 before appearing at the Hoochenanny Whiskey Festival in Rochester (New York) on August 10.

Dark Star Orchestra continues their journey with a performance at Freeman Arts Pavilion in Selbyville (Delaware) on August 13. The next night finds the band at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel (New York) on August 14, followed by a show at Pier 17 in New York on August 15. The summer tour concludes on August 16 at The Chrysalis at Merriweather Park in Columbia (Maryland), where the band will perform a historic Merriweather Post Pavilion Grateful Dead show.

A pre-sale begins tomorrow, April 23 at 10 a.m. ET with EYES as the password. General on-sales follows on Friday, April 25 at 10 a.m. ET, including Grateful Guitars Foundation Benefit VIP packages.
