Dark Star Orchestra Finalizes Dark Star Jubilee 2024 Lineup

Grateful Dead tribute act Dark Star Orchestra added six acts to complete the 2024 Dark Star Jubilee lineup. The 11th edition of the Memorial Day Weekend music festival returns to Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio May 24 – 26.

Keller Williams’ Grateful Gospel featuring John Kadlecik, Doom Flamingo, the Sam Grisman Project, Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, Doc Robinson and Vitamin A have joined the Dark Star Jubilee 2024 lineup. DSO drummer Dino English put together the Vitamin A set.

Hosts/headliners Dark Star Orchestra will perform six sets over the three nights of the music festival. Additional previously announced acts set to play at next year’s Dark Star Jubilee include Greensky Bluegrass, Melvin Seals & JGB, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, the Jennifer Hartswick Band, Jeff Mattson & Friends, Rumpke Mountain Boys and more.

Dark Star Jubilee organizers All Good Presents also announced the Grateful Guitars Foundation will bring four guitars played by members of the Grateful Dead to the festival. Jerry Garcia‘s iconic Alligator and the Martin D-28 acoustic Garcia used during the sessions that yielded the Dead’s American Beauty album are among the instruments that will be played at Dark Star Jubilee 2024.
