Daniel Donato shared a live in-studio video for his song, “Dance In The Desert.” Appropriately captured in the desert at Fireside Sound in Joshua Tree, California, renowned photographer Danny Clinch directed the video.
Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country was in Joshua Tree following an early 2024 West Coast swing around the band’s 2023 album, Reflector. Along with capturing the “Dance In The Desert” video, the guitarist took the time to stop by the Gram Parsons memorial in the desert town to honor the highly influential musician — who died of an accidental drug overdose in 1973 at the Joshua Tree Inn — with a performance of Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door.”

“Dance In The Desert” appears on Reflector and will be the album’s next single. The song has been performed live by Donato and his band more than any other besides “Luck Of The Draw,” at least at shows documented on Setlist.FM.
Donato and his band took to Joshua Tree’s Fireside Sound on January 23 to film and record the performance of “Dance In The Desert.” Watch the Danny Clinch-directed video below:
