Guitarists Billy Strings and Daniel Donato recently held corresponding two-night stands in the Burlington, Vermont area that resulted in the former sitting in with the latter. Official pro-shot video of Strings joining Donatio on “Luck Of The Draw” at The Double E in Essex Junction has been published.

Playing an electric guitar, Strings joined Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country on the country standard “Alabama Jubilee.” The cosmic collaboration continued with Strings and Donato going at it on “Ain’t Living Long Like This,” which appeared on Donato’s 2020 album, A Young Man’s Country.

Strings concluded his sit-in by augmenting Donato’s “Luck Of The Draw,” which also appeared on A Young Man’s Country, and that tune’s often paired partner, the instrumental “Sugar Leg Rag.”

Cosmic Country drummer Noah Winner Miller, who can be seen in the “Luck Of The Draw” video, announced his tenure with the band has ended. No replacement has been named.
