Watch Billy Strings’ Electrified Sit-In With Daniel Donato In Vermont

Guitarist Daniel Donato wrapped a two-night run at The Double E in Essex Junction, Vermont on Sunday. Guitarist Billy Strings also wrapped a two-night run at the nearby Midway Lawn at Champlain Valley Expo, and after his show, stopped by Donato’s gig for an extensive sit-in.

Playing an electric guitar, Strings joined Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country on the country standard “Alabama Jubilee.” The cosmic collaboration continued with Strings and Donato going at it on “Ain’t Living Long Like This,” which appeared on Donato’s 2020 album, A Young Man’s Country.

Strings concluded his sit-in by augmenting Donato’s “Luck Of The Draw,” which also appeared on A Young Man’s Country, and that tune’s often paired partner, the instrumental “Sugar Leg Rag.”
