Danger Mouse-Produced U2 Album Tentatively Due In April

Mega rock act U2 has seemingly had a quiet year as we haven’t heard much from the Irish act in 2013. Yet they’ve been hard at work on a new album, which will be produced by Brian “Danger Mouse” Burton. According to a report from Billboard, the album is tentatively scheduled for an April 2014 release.

Billboard also states that U2 is looking for a promotional partner to team with to create a commercial announcing the album that would run during the Super Bowl. The band’s last release was 2009’s No Line On The Horizon.
