The Disco Biscuits and Umphrey’s McGee will be joined by Conspirator with Special Guest Jake Cinninger of Umphrey’s McGee late night at newly renovated Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh on June 29. tDB and UM will be playing outdoors at the Lincoln Theater Street Festival.

Also, Perpetual Groove has been added to The Masquerade in Atlanta on June 30. The Disco Biscuits and Umphrey’s Mcgee will be performing at Masquerade Music Park outside. Late night the show moves inside where Perpetual Groove will close out the night with two sets. PGroove has shared the stage several times with tDB, including Jam Cruise and Camp Bisco.

D.U.M.B. ANNOUNCES FIVE SHOW CO-HEADLINING
TOUR IN SE AMPHITHEATERS!

Disco Biscuits & Umphrey’s McGee by Vann

This summer, the Disco Biscuits and Umphrey’s McGee will be joining forces for a co-headlining summer run of shows. The uniting of the two clans, subtly dubbed D.U.M.B. (Disco Umphrey’s McGee Biscuits) will be sharing the stage at some great outdoor venues, both bands playing full shows each night.

The summer affair between the two bands will start in the South East in Charlottesville, VA at the Charlottesville Amphitheatre on Wednesday June 27. The D.U.M.B posse will continue on to Portsmouth, VA at the Ntelos Wireless Pavilion on Thursday June 28, The Lincoln Theatre Street Stage in Raleigh, NC on Friday June 29, and the Masquerade Music Park in Atlanta, GA on Saturday June 30. Although playing equal sets at each show, the bands will take turns each night on who will close the show. In order to figure out who will close the last show on Sunday July 1 at the Pompano Beach Amphitheatre in Pompano Beach, FL, there will be a pre-show poker game between members of each band on stage at the four preceding shows. The winner of this poker game will play the closing set in Pompano. So make sure to get to the shows early to catch the poker madness!

Tickets for all five South East shows will go on sale via UM Ticketing and Disco Biscuits Ticketing at 4:20 EST Friday April 13, and general ticket on sale will be on Friday April 20 at 4:20 EST.

The D.U.M.B. fun doesn’t stop there. UM and the Biscuits join forces again for The Trancegression Festival at Copper Mountain, Colorado. On Friday, July 13, each band will play a club show in the Colorado area, The Biscuits at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, and Umphrey’s at the Ogden in Denver. Tickets to these two club shows are only available via each bands ticketing sites by purchasing a 3 day pass to Trancegression. Saturday July 13th and Sunday July 14, Trancegression ensues at Copper Mountain. An all day affair, Trancegression will feature a full sets by Umphrey’s and the Biscuits, each band will perform both days, and will be joined by Hot Buttered Rum, Zilla, Lotus, The Pharcyde, and Blackalicious as well as special late night events in the D.U.M.B. Dome featuring Greyboy Allstars one night, and Galactic the other. 3 day passes that include a ticket to the club show on 7/13 go on sale on Friday April 13. 1 and 2 day passes will go on sale on Friday April 20.
