Creed Front Man Threatened To Kill President Obama

The sad tale of Creed front man Scott Stapp’s descent into mental illness continues today with TMZ posting insane audio of a call Stapp’s wife and sister-in-law placed to 911 in which they reveal the singer thinks he’s a CIA agent who’s been tasked with assassinating President Obama.

You may recall that Stapp recently informed Facebook that he was broke and homeless after which he was placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold. Stapp’s wife filed for divorce just before Scott’s rant and the singer accused her of stealing his truck and $6 million. According to SPIN, the police felt Scott did not show enough signs of mental instability to warrant a psych hold. Listen to the call:
