Craig Finn & Patterson Hood Announce Devil In The Details Tour 2026

Craig Finn and Patterson Hood announced the Devil In The Details Tour. The summer 2026 run that will see the acclaimed singer-songwriters sharing stages across the Northeast.

The Hold Steady's Craig Finn detailed the tour with his longtime friend Patterson Hood of Drive-By Truckers in a social media post:

I’ve been friends with Patterson Hood for almost twenty years now, and we’ve done a lot of cool things together. But possibly my favorite adventure with Patterson was the Devils in the Details tour that we did from Seattle to Texas in November 2025. This tour featured us trading songs, onstage together at the same time, and accompanied by amazing multi-instrumentalist Ben Hackett. The shows were loose, fun, musical, and truly special. Now, I’m very excited to announce that we’re doing it all again in July 2026 in the Twin Cities and on the East Coast. These are guaranteed to be a great time, and I’m so excited to be playing in this format again. I might even bust out some new songs for the occasion. These will make for sublime summer evenings, and I hope you’ll join us.

The tour launches in Finn’s familiar Twin Cities with a show on July 9 at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota. The journey then continues in the Northeast with stops in Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. The Devil In The Details Tour wraps on July 21 at Bellmore Theater in Bellmore, New York.
