Cover Alert | Youth Percussionists Led Zeppelin Medley Goes Viral

The Louisville Leopard Percussionists is a youth group started in 1993 that currently features 60+ student musicians ages 7-14, who attend 48 different schools in and around Louisville. The ensemble shared rehearsal footage containing portions of three different Led Zeppelin songs back in November and the video went viral over the weekend thanks to Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.

Jimmy Page shared the video on his Facebook page on Friday with a note stating, “Too good not to share. Have a rocking weekend!” Page’s Facebook update has been shared by over 10K Facebook users and has been picked up by a number of media outlets. Now, the video is approaching an unbelievable 100K views on YouTube.

So what’s the hub-bub all about? These youngsters absolutely crush a medley of “Kashmir,” “The Ocean” and “Immigrant Song” using mostly xylophones! Check it out:
