Co-founding member of Ween Aaron Freeman, the artist formerly known as Gene Ween, is currently in the middle of his first full tour with his new band –Freeman. Last night Freeman performed at Turner Hall in Milwaukee, where the band had a treat in store for the encore.

Aaron’s latest project released a self-titled album over the summer and last night’s main set featured six of the LP’s 12 songs as well as a smattering of Ween classics such as “Exactly Where I’m At,” “Freedom of ’76” and “Transdermal Celebration.” For the encore, Freeman laid down a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “No Quarter.”
