Over the past 18 months we’ve seen a number of our favorite acts interpret the theme song to the popular HBO series Game Of Thrones. Last year, Phil Lesh & The Family Band put their spin on the song, while Yonder Mountain String Band enlisted Allie Kral to help cover the tune back in April. There was even a fan-created Phish/Game Of Thrones mash-up. The latest rendition of the Game Of Thrones theme comes from former Perpetual Groove front man Brock Butler.

As we reported a few weeks back, Butler has started posting videos featuring (mostly) solo acoustic versions of covers and originals. Brock began by sharing his videos on Facebook, but recently moved the series over to his own YouTube channel.

Yesterday, Brock shared his version of the Game Of Thrones theme:

Here are a few more videos Butler has posted on YouTube:

[She’s Gone -Hall & Oates]

[Sweet Oblivious Antidote w. Brian Revercomb -Perpetual Groove]

[All I Want Is You -U2]
