Bonnaroo Taps Cory Wong To Lead Syncopated Superjam

Guitarist Cory Wong will host and curate the Bonnaroo 2023 Superjam on Saturday, June 17. The famed festival returns to The Bonnaroo Farm in Manchester, Tennessee June 14 – 18.
Cory Wong’s Syncopated Superjam will find the guitarist and his 12-piece band joined by “many surprise all-star guests.” The Superjam has been a staple of the festival since it was founded in 2002. Past installments have been hosted by Jack Antonoff, GRiZ, Questlove & D’Angelo, Skrillex, Jim James & John Oates and others.

“This is going to be an incredible set of music with special guests who are at the festival, and also a handful who are flying in specifically for the Superjam. There are guests from across all genres that will come together on stage for a really special once-in-a-lifetime performance. I’ve held a few tricks up my sleeve over the past few years, and I’m happy that they get to come out in full force for this Superjam. The song list is already shaping up to be insane. My full 12-piece band will be there along with me and we’re working out new arrangements for all of the material that night.”

Foo Fighters, Odesza and Kendrick Lamar headline the 2023 Bonnaroo lineup. Umphrey’s McGee, Vulfpeck, My Morning Jacket, STS9, Sheryl Crow, GRiZ, Fleet Foxes, Molly Tuttle and Sylvan Esso are among the dozens of additional acts set to perform at The Farm this June.
