Cory Wong Announces ‘Syncopate & Motivate World Tour’

Cory Wong has announced his Syncopate & Motivate World Tour, which spans from the fall of 2019 to spring of 2020. The extensive outing comes in support of the funk guitarist’s upcoming third studio album, Motivational Music For The Syncopated Soul, which is due out on August 2.

The first leg of the tour finds the Vulfpeck collaborator routing across the United States, starting on the West Coast. After a lone Canadian stop opens the tour in Vancouver, Wong and supporting act Phoebe Katis will travel down the coast, with stops in Washington, Oregon and California. From there, Wong will join up with Paris Monster to continue to the Rocky Mountain region, ultimately landing in Colorado for a final three-night run around Halloween.

In November, Wong will head to Europe, with tour stops planned in Serbia, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and The Netherlands. After the two-week European leg wraps, Wong will return to the United States for a special hometown performance in Minneapolis, Minnesota on November 29. Billed as “An Evening with Cory Wong,” the guitarist will be joined by Antwaun Stanley. A few months later, Wong will finish off his announced Syncopate & Motivate World Tour with a run across the United Kingdom in February 2020.
