Cory Wong Announces Winter 2019 Tour & Shares ‘Jumbotron Hype Song’ Video

Guitarist Cory Wong recently released his sophomore studio album The Optimist. Wong has been touring in support of the LP and will embark on a headlining tour of North America early next year. The Minneapolis-birthed musician also shared the official video for The Optimist track “Jumbotron Hype Song” featuring Antwaun Stanley and Sonny Thompson.

Cory Wong kicks off the 2019 portion of his tour at Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines on January 10. The longtime Vulfpeck collaborator then brings the run to Kansas City, St. Louis, Nashville, Louisville, Cleveland, Benton Harbor (Michigan), Ann Arbor, Toronto, Rochester, Ithaca, Albany, Boston, South Burlington (Vermont), New York City and Baltimore over the course of January. Wong ends the North American leg in February with stops in Philadelphia, Columbus, Bloomington (Indiana), Chicago, Madison (Wisconsin) and Minneapolis. Watch the video for “Jumbotron Hype Song” below:
