Later this fall progressive/fusion trio Consider the Source will play a series of shows opening for Papadosio. Today CTS have announced they will perform special sets of Radiohead covers at five concerts in which they’ll be supporting Papadosio.
Consider The Source selected songs that they not only love but Radiohead covers that will also allow them to inject the progressive and world influences that are integral to the trio’s unique sound. “Paranoid Android” and “Reckoner” are among the tunes you can expect to catch during CTS’s Radiohead sets. “We decided to cover Radiohead because they are one of our favorite rock bands and their compositions are interesting and ripe for interpretation” the band revealed. “We feel that our approach to writing is in ways similar to theirs, so we felt at home making these songs our own.”
The CTS Radiohead sets will take place before Papadosio takes the stage at the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh on October 27, the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. on October 28, Brooklyn Bowl in New York City on November 11 and visits to The Music Farm venues in Columbia (November 18) and Charleston (November 19).
