The Congress Announce Third Annual Christmas Eve Eve Show

Late this year Virginia jam-rock quartet The Congress will continue a tradition of performances on the eve of Christmas Eve, aka December 23. The band’s third annual Christmas Eve Eve show will take place at The Camel in their home town of Richmond, Virginia.

The band’s 2015 Christmas Eve Eve gig was a celebration of The Congress moving back to Richmond. This time around the group will be sharing their excitement for the recently released The Game LP, which showed a maturing sound. Local singer/songwriter Russell Lacy will open the show. Tickets are available via the venue’s website.

The Congress recently recorded a Jam In The Van session. Included within was a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Hands On You” in which the band gave a shout out to Greensky Bluegrass for the idea to tackle the tune, watch:
