After a couple of weeks off, Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres Tour resumed with the first of three sold-out concerts at Olympic Stadium in Munich, Germany. Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes joined the British band near the end of Thursday’s show, accompanying frontman Chris Martin and his bandmates on “Fix You.”
Mendes appeared during the final “Home” set of the multi-part presentation. Mendes played acoustic guitar and added vocals to “Fix You,” which appeared on Coldplay’s 2005 album, X&Y. One of the band’s most popular songs, “Fix You” has been streamed over 1 billion times on Spotify alone.
