Circles Around The Sun confirmed their entire 2018 Summer Tour. The run will consist of four headlining dates and a festival appearance.

Instrumental quartet Circles Around The Sun added four headlining dates to an August visit to the Northeast that already included an appearance at the Huichica East music festival. The foursome’s upcoming Northeast run comes just days after they release a new album entitled Let It Wander via Rhino on August 17.

Guitarist Neal Casal, keyboardist Adam MacDougall, bassist Dan Horne and drummer Mark Levy are currently expected to begin the tour at The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, New Jersey on August 22. Circles Around The Sun then play Brooklyn Bowl in New York City on August 23 and The Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, Pennsylvania on August 24. The band performs at Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vermont on August 25 ahead of their set at Huichica East in Pine Plains, New York on August 26.

Circles Around The Sun recorded Let It Wander earlier this year at Castaway 7 Studios. “More than anything, what you hear on this album is a band growing into its own sound,” Casal said in a statement about Circles Around The Sun evolving past their original aim of paying homage to the spirit of the Grateful Dead.
