Circles Around The Sun Continue To Add 2017 Dates

Instrumental quartet Circles Around The Sun continue to add concerts to their upcoming touring itinerary. The band featuring guitarist Neal Casal joined by drummer Mark Levy, keyboardist Adam MacDougall and bassist Dan Horne has now confirmed a total of eight June and July performances.

Circles Around The Sun was founded by Casal to create music that was played during intermissions at the 2015 Fare The Well – Celebrating 50 Years Of Grateful Dead concerts. The foursome made their debut the following summer at Lockn’ and embarked on a brief run this past November. CATS has added a Phish post-show performance in Chicago as well as two shows at Terrapin Crossroads to the docket.

Up first for the band is a trip to Colorado that begins at Belly Up Aspen in Aspen, Colorado on June 6. From there, the group continues the run in Colorado with shows in Bellevue on June 7, Denver on June 8 and Boulder on June 9. CATS will make their Chicago debut with a late night at Concord Music Hall on July 15. The band also has a late night scheduled for the Gramercy Theatre in New York City on July 22. Casal & Co. are currently set to end their summer at Terrapin Crossroads’ Grate Room in San Rafael, California on July 28 and 29.
