Singer-songwriter Chuck Auerbach has announced the upcoming release of his debut album Remember Me. The record will be issued on June 15 to coincide with Father’s Day and will be issued on Auerbach’s son Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound record label.
The younger Auerbach is credited with producing and playing guitar on the nine-track Remember Me. The 68-year-old elder Auerbach’s first album was recorded in Nashville at the renowned Butcher Shoppe Studio and completed at Dan’s Easy Eye Sound studio. Contributing musicians supporting Chuck on the album include bassist Dave Roe, keyboardist Bobby Emmett, drummer Pete Abbott, guitarists Kenny Vaughn and Dante Schwebel, pedal steel guitarist Russ Pahl and multi-instrumentalist Richard Swift.
Chuck Auerbach previously wrote lyrics for The Black Keys and Dan Auerbach’s first solo album, as well as local Akron, Ohio bands.
