The seventh season of PBS live music series Bluegrass Underground rolled on this past weekend with a performance from the Chris Robinson Brotherhood. Robinson and his mates focused on new material over the course of their appearance on Bluegrass Underground.
The Chris Robinson Brotherhood taped their set 333 feet below ground at the naturally formed Cumberland Caverns’ Volcano Room amphitheater near McMinnville, Tennessee back in March. After opening the set with “Behold The Seer” off Barefoot In The Head, which was actually the live debut of the tune, the band served up the ballad “Shadow Cosmos.” Up next was the live debut of “Good To Know” and then the set ended with a well-jammed “Rosalee.”
