Chicago White Sox To Host Grateful Dead Night

On July 5, the Chicago White Sox will host Grateful Dead Night at U.S Cellular Field. The White Sox take on the New York Yankees on that night which happens to be the first anniversary of the final Fare Thee Well show featuring Grateful Dead members, Trey Anastasio, Bruce Hornsby and Jeff Chimenti at Chicago’s Soldier Field.

Those who purchase a Grateful Dead Tribute Night ticket using the code “DEAD” will receive a specially designed White Sox Grateful Dead t-shirt on the night of the game. T-shirt vouchers are limited to the first 1,500 tickets purchased. The Barn Presents reports the evening will include pre-and-in-game performances by tribute act Terrapin Flyer featuring one-time Grateful Dead member Tom Constanten.
