Dear Charleston Bluegrass community,
Due to the circumstances out of our control related to the ever-changing worldwide situation with COVID-19 and coronavirus, and following the direction and advice of the CDC and WHO we regretfully report that the Charleston Bluegrass Festival will be rescheduled for a date later this year. Though South Carolina’s current threat related to this global pandemic is low, the scheduled artists, vendors, and staff come from areas all over the United States. Traveling to South Carolina to perform and execute this event during this uncertain time is neither a feasible nor prudent option. As we continue to monitor this situation, we are actively working on finding new dates that will align with the artists scheduled to perform. We realize this comes as a disappointment, we certainly share the feeling. We will announce a new date for the festival as soon as possible.
All current tickets for camping, and for the event itself will be honored for the new festival dates.
In addition to using your camping tickets purchased for the rescheduled festival date, The Woodlands Nature Reserve will host a ‘get back to nature’ camp-out opportunity on a weekend in the near future. This will be a chance for those of you who want to reconnect with nature to enjoy a weekend outdoors. This is offered as an additional courtesy to camping ticket purchasers, as we wait for the forthcoming rescheduled festival date. There will be food & beverage vendors, outdoor activities, and local entertainment provided. We hope that this helps make this unfortunate change in plans a bit more enjoyable. Come enjoy nature with us, and practice your social distancing amongst the sprawling acreage that the Woodlands Nature Reserve offers. Stay tuned for an announcement on a date for this unique outdoor opportunity.
