Watch Chance The Rapper Plant His ‘Tree’ At ‘The Tonight Show’
The Chicago-native’s new album, Star Line, comes out August 15.

After a hometown appearance this weekend at Chicago’s Lollapalooza festival, Chance The Rapper headed to New York City to perform on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Chicago-native performed “Tree,” the lead single off his forthcoming album, Star Line.
Chance again worked with longtime producer DexLvL on Star Line, which arrives on Friday, August 15. The single version of “Tree” came out last month and interpolates India.Arie’s “Video” and features rappers Lil Wayne and Smino. The remaining Star Line tracklist entries were not revealed.
Chance did not employ either of the “Tree” guests that appear on the studio cut during his Tonight Show appearance. Watch him plant his “Tree” below:
