Chalice Music & Arts Festival Announces Initial 2017 Lineup

The 4th annual Chalice Music & Arts Festival will take place at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds in Victoriaville, California July 7 – 9. Organizers of the event, which expects to draw 40K, have announced the initial musical lineup.

Chalice will feature headliners Ice Cube, Thievery Corporation and STS9 alongside Ludacris, Cypress Hill, Big Boi (of Outkast), The Floozies, Manic Focus and more. The initial lineup can be viewed below. Look for the entire 2017 music and art lineup to be revealed soon.

“This year we’re setting a different standard with Chalice,” founder Doug Dracup said. “We’re adding attractions and different art installations that have never happened at this kind of festival before. We’re putting a million- or $2-million lineups out there for music – and we’re spending more than $100,000 on art installations.” The event also attracts the nation’s top glass artists and has been dubbed “the Coachella of concentrates” by the San Francisco Chronicle’s SF Gate.

In addition to the music, expect plenty of large-scale art installations, expert glassblowing workshops and on-site vendors. A variety of ticketing packages are on sale via the festival’s website.
