Cannabis Country Fair Announces Initial Inaugural Musical Lineup

The inaugural installment of Cannabis Country Fair will take place at Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California July 21 – 23. Organizer Tim Blake, a pioneer in the organic cannabis industry and founder/producer of The Emerald Cup, has revealed the initial musical lineup for the first-ever Cannabis Country Fair.

Thievery Corporation and Portugal. The Man are a top the bill on a lineup that also includes Beats Antique, White Denim, Allen Stone, Anders Osborne, Lyrics Born and more. A number of prominent figures in the cannabis industry such as Co-Founder and Director of Project CBD Martin Lee, Northern California criminal defense lawyer and co-founder of the Cannabis Law Institute Omar Figueroa and Newcleus Nurseries founder Jesse Dodd will be among the speakers at the event.

Tim Blake explained the concept behind Cannabis Country Fair, “It’s a summer event, complete with sunshine, that irreplaceable summertime vibe, and the fun that comes along with this time of year. It’s about being around the cannabis tribe, taking in and partaking in all their creations, great music, dancing, enjoying snow cones, watermelon, and the rest of the summer season’s organic farm-to-table delights that we’re so fortunate to have in Northern California. It’s about staying educated on the cannabis industry and including wellness in our day-to-day lives – from farming practices, healthcare and medicinal practices, healthy living and more.”

In addition to the speakers and musical acts, Cannabis Country Fair will host a Cannabis Market, festival cuisine, activities you’d find at a regular country fair, wellness features, a cannabis competition, camping and more. Tickets go on sale starting on Friday, May 19 at 10 a.m. PT via the festival’s website. Attendees must be 18 or older and hold a valid California Medical Marijuana Card.
