Bruce Springsteen Shares ‘Sundown’ From ‘Western Stars’ Film

Bruce Springsteen previewed his Western Stars film by unveiling footage of “Sundown” from the movie. Both Western Stars the film and the soundtrack Western Stars – Songs From The Film are due out on October 25 via Columbia Records.

Springsteen’s new film and soundtrack feature live performances of every song from his Western Stars album as well as a cover of Glen Campbell’s “Rhinestone Cowboy.” The Boss’ wife, Patti Scialfa, as well as a full band and orchestra, backed Bruce during a concert held at Stone Hill Farm in Colts Neck, New Jersey. The film was directed by Springsteen and longtime collaborator Thom Zimmy. Screenings of Western Stars will take place at theaters across the country on October 19 and 23.
