Bruce Springsteen To Perform At 2018 Tony Awards

Legendary musician Bruce Springsteen will perform at the 72nd Annual Tony Awards ceremony this Sunday night, June 10. As reported, Springsteen will also receive a Special Tony Award in honor of his ongoing Springsteen On Broadway run at the Walter Kerr Theatre.

The Tony Awards ceremony will be broadcast live from New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on CBS starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday night. Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban will host the 2018 Tony Awards. Uzo Aduba, Christine Baranski, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Melissa Benoist, Erich Bergen, Rachel Bloom, Matt Bomer, Rachel Brosnahan, Tituss Burgess, Claire Danes, Jeff Daniels, Robert De Niro, Brandon Victor Dixon, Christopher Jackson and Billy Joel are among those expected to appear.

Springsteen On Broadway opened back in October and has twice been extended. The Boss’ one-man show featuring storytelling and songs from throughout his career is currently scheduled to run through December 15. Bruce’s Special Tony Award comes in addition to 20 Grammy Awards and an Oscar he has won in the past.
