By Scott Bernstein Dec 5, 2019 • 1:28 pm PST

The Brothers Comatose will be joined by The Lil Smokies, Rainbow Girls and Royal Jelly Jive at The UC Theatre in Berkeley on December 13 for the Comatopia By The Bay mini-festival presented by Fieldwork Brewing Company. Ben Morrison of The Brothers Comatose performed a stripped-down rendition of the band’s “Morning Time” with his wife, T Sisters‘ Erika Tietjen, at Fieldwork for a video which JamBase is pleased to premiere.
“This song (‘Morning Time’) is an ode to the differences in relationships and the little things we can do that end up making big connections,” Ben Morrison told JamBase. Here’s more from Ben:
In this video, I get to sing it with my new wife – Erika of the T Sisters – which ends up being a major thing to connect on. We got to go down to the offices at Fieldwork Brewing Company and sing some tunes in preparation for The Brothers Comatose’s big show at the UC Theatre on Friday, December 13. We’re calling it Comatopia By The Bay and it will be featuring some of our favorite bands: The Lil Smokies, Royal Jelly Jive and Rainbow Girls. Plus it’s one of the best rooms in the Bay Area to play!
Tickets for Comatopia By The Bay are on sale now via Eventbrite. Watch Ben Morrison and Erika Tietjen’s performance of “Morning Time” below:
