Bright Eyes will embark on their first tour in a decade this summer. The band featuring Conor Oberst, Nate Walcott and Mike Mogis will be joined by Lucy Dacus as support at all 11 concerts.

The run comes nearly a year after the release of Bright Eyes’ Down In The Weeds, Where The World Once Was album which marked the trio’s return following a lengthy hiatus. Bright Eyes and Dacus open the tour at Artpark Amphitheatre in Lewiston, New York on July 27. Then, Japanese Breakfast also performs as part of a date at Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut on July 28.

Bright Eyes and Lucy Dacus play Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on July 29 and Worcester, Massachusetts on July 30 before Waxahatchee opens at New York City’s Forest Hills Tennis Stadium on July 31. From there, the tour heads south with stops in Charlottesville on August 3, Raleigh on August 4, Asheville on August 5, Atlanta August 6 – 7 and Birmingham on August 8.

Each show will find Oberst, Walcott and Mogis augmented by a chamber orchestra as well as drummer Jon Theodore, bassist Macey Taylor and guitarist Miwi LaLupa. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 11.
