Brandon ‘Taz’ Niederauer Performs National Anthem At Wrigley Field

Guitarist Brandon “Taz” Niederauer continued a tradition on Sunday by performing the National Anthem at Wrigley Field in Chicago before the Cubs took on Cincinnati Reds. Yesterday marked the second time in a row Taz followed an appearance at the Summer Camp Music Festival by presenting an instrumental rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” on the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend at the friendly confines.

Niederauer channeled Jimi Hendrix with his take on the National Anthem. Brandon has performed the song at a number of sporting events in the past, including before NBA and NHL games. Watch the 16-year-old shred through “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Wrigley on Sunday afternoon:
