Brandi Carlile knows how to get to Sesame Street. The acclaimed singer-songwriter performed a new song, “That’s Why We Love Nature,” on the beloved, long-running program.
The video sees Brandi meeting with Sesame Street residents and best friends Big Bird and Snuffleupagus. The trio gather around a leafy, flower-filled letter “N” to talk about nature.

“The letter ‘N’ is the first letter in the word nature,” Brandi said, “and I love nature, don’t you?”
“What exactly is nature?” Snuffy asked. “That’s a good question, Snuff,” Big Bird said.
“Nature is all around us,” Brandi answers. “It’s everything in the world that’s not made by people.”
Carlile then gets her guitar to explore nature in the best way possible, through song. Bird and Snuffy join her in singing “That’s Why We Love Nature.” Watch below:
