Brandi Carlile debuted her new single “Right On Time” on Wednesday’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the same day she released the studio version of the song. Carlile was joined by her band at the program’s 30 Rock studios in New York City to perform the opening track from her forthcoming In These Silent Days album.

The 10-track In These Silent Days marks Brandi’s first new studio album since 2018’s By The Way, I Forgive You. Carlile recorded the LP with co-producers Dave Cobb and Shooter Jennings, both of whom contributed to In These Silent Days as part of sessions held at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A.

Brandi started to play “Right On Time” unaccompanied on piano. Carlile then strapped on an electric guitar and brought the song to a big finish accompanied by Jennings on piano, drummer Chris Powell and longtime band members “The Twins” — guitarist Tim Hanseroth and bassist Phil Hanseroth.

In These Silent Days arrives via Low Country Sound/Elektra Records on October 1. Watch Brandi’s debut “Right On Time” performance below:
