Brandi Carlile Performs On ‘Austin City Limits’

Brandi Carlile performed on this weekend’s episode of Austin City Limits. The singer-songwriter was joined by longtime collaborators, and twins, Tim and Phil Hanseroth as well as drummer Chris Powell, a string section and horns.

The Washington-based artist last appeared on the show in 2010, when Carlile shared the episode with Rosanne Cash. This time around Brandi was given the entire hour. Brandi Carlile & Co. performed a total of nine songs over the course of the episode. She focused on material from the critically-acclaimed early-2018 release By the Way, I Forgive You. Also included was Carlile’s stunning cover of “Madman Across The Water” by Elton John. Watch the full performance below:
