Boston Red Sox To Host Grateful Dead Tribute Night

Major League Baseball’s Boston Red Sox have announced a special Grateful Dead Tribute Night in honor of the legendary band’s 50th anniversary being celebrated this year. Fenway Park will host the club’s Grateful Dead Night on September 21 when the Sox take on the visiting Tampa Bay Rays. They join the St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds who are also hosting Dead tribute nights.

Fans who attend the Grateful Dead Night at Fenway will receive a special Grateful Dead Night Theme Ticket and a specially designed Red Sox Grateful Dead t-shirt (shown above). Boston locals Fennario will be on hand to perform a pre-game set on Yawkey Way from 5:40 p.m. ET – 7:00 p.m.
