A tradition continues this June when a varied group of musicians will come together for Bonnaroo’s famed SuperJam. This year’s SuperJam will be a tribute to Bonnaroo’s home state of Tennessee featuring saxophone great Kamasi Washington as musical director. Today, the lineup for the Washington-led SuperJam has been revealed.

“Heart, Soul & Spirit: A Tribute To Tennessee” will find Kamasi Washington joined by Miguel, GRiZ, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Devonté Hynes, Eric Krasno & The Shady Horns, Vulfpeck, The Internet, Chicano Batman, Lizzo and many more to be announced soon. The set will take place on the Saturday night of this year’s festival from 12:30 a.m. – 2:30 a.m. “I’m so excited and honored to lead this year’s SuperJam,” said Kamasi Washington. “Such a cool experience to collaborate with all of these amazing artists in celebration of some of the greatest music legends from Tennessee, at one of the coolest festivals in the country – it’s going to be a crazy party!”

“We’ve been proud to call Tennessee home for the past 15 years and couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this milestone anniversary than with a SuperJam dedicated to the legendary music from our home state,” said Robin McNicol, Director of Programming, Superfly, co-creators of Bonnaroo. “We’re excited to have Kamasi Washington leading what is sure to be a night of once in a lifetime performances.” Bonnaroo organizers have also revealed the lineup of the SuperJam’s country cousin, The Bluegrass Situation. Host Ed Helms and the Watkins Family Hour House Band (incl. Sara and Sean Watkins) will be joined by Lee Ann Womack, Buddy Miller, Amanda Shires, the Secret Sisters, the Wood Brothers, Steep Canyon Rangers, Sam Bush Band and more.
