Bon Iver Announces Additonal California Concerts

Justin Vernon has confirmed additional Bon Iver concerts for later this year. The reformed outfit added three new California dates to go along with a previously revealed appearance at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

The three new Bon Iver concerts include an October 18 show at the Fox Theater in Oakland, an October 22 show in Santa Ana at the Beach Goth festival and October 26 at Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego. Francis And The Lights will open the Oakland performance, while Julianna Barwick was tapped to support the San Diego show. Patti Smith and Hiss Golden Messenger are on the bill in L.A. A pre-sale of tickets for the new dates initiates on Wednesday July 13 at 10 a.m. PT. General tickets sales begin at 10 a.m. PT on Friday, July 15.

Bon Iver is also slated to appear at Vernon-curated Eaux Claires Music Festival on August 12 – 13. Vernon previously promised a set of completely new Bon Iver material will be played at the second annual event being held in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
