Bob Weir & Wolf Bros Perform ‘Tiny Desk Concert’

appear in the latest installment of NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series. The trio led by Grateful Dead/Dead & Company guitarist Bob Weir were accompanied by guest harpist Mikaela Davis during the session.
The set started with “Only A River,” which Weir recorded for his 2016 solo album, Blue Mountain. Next, Weir led drummer Jay Lane and bassist Don Was on a cover of Bob Dylan’s “When I Paint My Masterpiece.” Davis then joined the trio for a performance of “Bird Song” that saw Bobby switch to electric guitar for the second half of the Dead classic. Davis stuck around for another Grateful Dead staple, the Jerry Garcia/Robert Hunter co-write “Ripple,” which drew the mini-concert to an end. Watch the performance below:
