Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir announced his first headline shows following Dead & Company‘s 30-date residency at the Las Vegas Sphere. Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros featuring The WolfPack will team with local orchestras at five new fall symphony tour dates planned for November.

The band begins the brief excursion on November 13 by performing with the Cincinnati Pops at Cincinnati Music Hall. Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros and The Wolfpack then head to Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre for concerts with the Chicago Philharmonic on November 17 and 18. The group concludes the jaunt on November 22 and 23 by linking up with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans.

Weir first presented his symphonic celebration of the music of the Grateful Dead, solo songs and assorted covers in October of 2022 by performing four shows with Wolf Bros, The Wolfpack and NSO at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Each night featured a different setlist and the same is expected this November. The guitarist selected Stanford professor and composer Dr. Giancarlo Aquilanti to provide the original orchestration.

An Artist Presale begins and VIP packages will be available on Wednesday, July 17 at 10 a.m. ET. Then, tickets for the Chicago and New Orleans shows go on sale to the general public on Friday. The general on-sale for Cincinnati starts on Monday, July 22 at 10 a.m. ET.
