Bob Weir Joins John Kadlecik Band At Terrapin Crossroads

The Grate Room at Terrapin Crossroads hosted the first of two John Kadlecik Band shows on Wednesday night. Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir joined the group for an extensive sit-in.

Guitarist/frontman John Kadlecik enlisted a lineup for the pair of TXR shows that features keyboardist Todd Stoops along with Weir’s RatDog band mates, drummer Jay Lane and bassist Robin Sylvester. Bobby emerged to join the ensemble on the staple of his repertoire, the blues standard “Walking Blues.” The Dead & Company guitarist also stuck around for takes on “Bertha,” “West L.A. Fadeaway,” “Throwing Stones,” “Touch Of Grey” and Daniel Lanois’ “The Maker.”
