Bob Weir Appears On Amoeba Music’s ‘What’s In My Bag’

Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir recently stopped by Amoeba Music record store in Los Angeles. While there, the current Dead & Company frontman participated in the independent retailer’s What’s In My Bag? video series.

Weir details the purchases he made after doing some crate digging at the iconic record store. Bobby opts for some jazz, selecting classic titles by Miles Davis and John Coltrane and he delves into his love of the blues with releases by Howlin’ Wolf, his “pal” Taj Mahal and Bessie Smith.

Also featured is Schmilco, the latest album by Weir’s live collaborators Wilco and 1960s contemporaries The Beatles’ landmark Rubber Soul LP also made Bobby’s bag. Watch the entire segment below:
