Bob Dylan Shares ‘The Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1975 Live Recordings’ Sampler

Bob Dylan’s 10-song sampler of his upcoming archival release, The Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1975 Live Recordings, is available to stream via NPR Music’s First Listen series. The 14-CD box set made up of recordings from Dylan’s legendary 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue Tour will be officially released on June 7.

In addition to the box set, a new Martin Scorsese-directed documentary, Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story By Martin Scorsese, arrives on Netflix and in select theaters on June 12. The Rolling Thunder Revue Tour featured Dylan backed by a band put together by Bob Neuwirth that included T-Bone Burnett, Mick Ronson, David Mansfield, Scarlet Rivera, Steven Soles, Rob Stoner and Howie Wyeth. The tour also saw appearances by Joan Baez, Roger McGuinn, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Joni Mitchell and many others.

The massive Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1975 Live Recordings box set includes over 100 previously unreleased tracks culled from five complete shows, rehearsals and rarities. Stream a 10-song sampler of the archival release via the link to NPR below:
