Bob Dylan Details New Album & Shares Single

Iconic American musician Bob Dylan will release a new album entitled Fallen Angels via Columbia Records on May 20. Dylan has shared “Melancholy Mood,” the first single off of what will be his 37th studio LP.

Following last year’s Shadows In The Night that saw Dylan interpreting standards made famous by Frank Sinatra, Fallen Angels showcases Dylan performing a collection of songs written by the likes of Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, Sammy Cahn and Carolyn Leigh that were also recorded by Sinatra. Backed by his touring band and produced under his Jack Frost pseudonym, Dylan recorded the new album in 2015 at Capitol Studios in Hollywood.

Dylan will tour in support of the album this summer with Mavis Staples. Stream the Walter Schumann and Vick R. Knight, Sr. composed “Melancholy Mood” via the “Vinyl Video” below:
