Bob Dylan’s ‘Blood On The Tracks’ Turns 50: All-Star Concert To Feature Elvis Costello, Lucinda Williams & More

The one-night-only event will take place at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa on January 24, 2025.

The 50th anniversary of the release of Bob Dylan’s album Blood On The Tracks will be celebrated with an all-star concert at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 24, 2025. Elvis Costello, Lucinda Williams, Sharon Van Etten and many others will participate in the one-night-only event.

Actor Luke Wilson will emcee the concert organized by Tulsa’s Bob Dylan Center. The house band will be comprised of multi-instrumentalists Brad Cook and Phil Cook, members of Chatham County Line, Ben Folds Five drummer Darren Jessee and the concert’s co-curator Doug Keith.

Along with Costello, Williams and Van Etten, “Shelter from the Storm: A Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Blood On The Tracks” will feature performances by Adam Granduciel of The War on Drugs, Amy Ray of Indigo Girls, Martin Courtney of Real Estate, Diana Krall, Robyn Hitchcock, Kevin Morby, Lonnie Holley, Paul Metsa, Emma Swift, Laura Cantrell, Michael Shannon and Jason Narducy.

The three-term U.S. Poet Laureate and Bob Dylan Center Artist-in-Residence Joy Harjo will also participate. The special concert will also include three musicians who performed on the 1975 album, Blood On The Tracks, keyboardist Gregg Inhofer, guitarist Kevin Odegard and bassist Billy Peterson. The album included several of Dylan’s well-known songs, including “Tangled Up in Blue,” “Simple Twist of Fate” and “Shelter from the Storm.”

“Shelter From The Storm: A Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Blood On The Tracks” tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. CT on Friday, December 13.
