Blues Traveler & moe. Detail Summer Tour 2019
John Popper of Blues Traveler has a long history of guest appearances with moe. Popper sat-in with moe. at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia on April 19, 2002 and had such a good time he returned the next night. The latest John Popper/moe. summit took place this past Saturday night at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, where the harmonica wiz joined the Buffalo-birthed band on “New York City,” “Blue Jeans Pizza” and “Moth.”
The tour, presented by SiriusXM’s Jam On, begins at Long Island Community Hospital Amphitheater At Bald Hill in Farmingville, New York on July 11. Each band will perform a set then moe. and Blues Traveler will team for a collaborative third set. From there, the tour makes stops in Asbury Park, New Jersey; Baltimore; Portsmouth, Virginia; Northampton, Massachusetts; Boston; Wallingford, Connecticut; Gilford, New Hampshire; Toronto; Cleveland; Cincinnati and Detroit to close out July.
The August portion of the tour starts at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville on August 2. Dates in Atlanta, Raleigh, Greensboro and Jacksonville will be followed a swing through Texas that includes stops in Houston, Irving and Austin.
