On Friday, The Black Keys released their 13th album, No Rain, No Flowers. The next day, guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney appeared on CBS Saturday Morning and performed a pair of songs from the new album, alongside one of their classic tunes.
Auerbach and Carney were backed on CBS by percussionist Chris St. Hilaire, keyboardist Ray Jacildo, bassist Joe Harrison and guitarist Andy Gabbard (and an unidentified guitarist). The television performance featured the No Rain, No Flowers title track. The duo also led a take on the single, “Man On A Mission.”
The three-song session ended with The Black Keys’ favorite “Lonely Boy,” which was recorded for their 2011 album, El Camino.
The Black Keys began the North American leg of their 2025 No Rain, No Flowers Tour over the weekend. The band will play amphitheaters and venues in the U.S., Canada and Mexico through September 11.
