The Black Crowes Announce Reunion Tour

Update: The Black Crowes revealed the lineup for the tour and confirmed a pair of preview gigs set for tonight (Monday, November 11) in New York City and Thursday, November 14 in Los Angeles.

The Black Crowes officially announced a reunion tour scheduled for Summer 2020. The band will perform their debut studio album, Shake Your Money Maker, plus “all the hits” at each stop on the three-month run. Chris Robinson and Rich Robinson will be joined by guitarist Isaiah Mitchell, bassist Tim Lefebvre keyboardist Joel Robinow and drummer Raj Ojha for the 46-date trek.

The tour, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of Shake Your Money Maker, starts at Austin360 Amphitheater in Austin on June 17. From there, The Crowes hit Dallas, Austin, Tulsa, Rogers (Arkansas), Birmingham, Atlanta and West Palm Beach over the remainder of June. In July, The Black Crowes will play dates in Tampa, Charlotte, Raleigh, Nashville, Virginia Beach, Camden (New Jersey), Bethel (New York), Holmdel (New Jersey), Wantagh (New York), Gilford (New Hampshire), Boston, Hartford, Saratoga Springs (New York), Toronto, Detroit and Buffalo.

The August portion of The Black Crowes’ tour includes stops in Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, Chicago, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Kansas City, Omaha and Denver. Chris, Rich and company are expected to end the run in September after shows in Salt Lake City, Seattle, Portland (Oregon), Concord (California), Mountain View (California), Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego and Los Angeles.

Tickets for all dates go on sale this morning via Ticketmaster. Chris and Rich Robinson are expected to appear on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show this morning to discuss the tour.
