Watch Billy Strings Cover Willie Nelson’s ‘On The Road Again’ Near Seattle

Billy Strings shared pro-shot video featuring a recent performance of the Willie Nelson classic “On The Road Again.” The footage was filmed during Strings’ concert at Marymoor Park near Seattle on August 14.

The video, which incorporates visuals of travel, arrives as Billy Strings prepares to make his Outlaw Music Festival debut. Strings and his band will perform as part of the Willie Nelson-headlined trek between September 9 and 18. The Outlaw Music Festival stops in Alpharetta, Georgia on September 9; Charlotte on September 10; Virginia Beach, Virginia on September 11; Bridgeport, Connecticut on September 13; Mansfield, Massachusetts on September 16 and Saratoga Springs, New York on September 18. Willie Nelson wrote “On The Road Again” and originally released the song in 1980 on the soundtrack for the film Honeysuckle Rose. Billy Strings debuted his rendition during a Billy Strings & Friends set at the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival on July 20, 2019 as per BillyBase.org. The guitarist led his band through “On The Road Again” for the first time since March 2021 on August 14 at Marymoor Park in Redmond, Washington.
